When we Introduce
in to our search for truth
data gathered from the world outside
We’re tempted to reject
measures as defects

and change some molecules
enough so its no longer gasoline

To show our methods rational
We must confess
we’re either lucky or we fail
it’s all for show
when we precisely calculate
we think we know
but really we approximate

When you discern as mild
what others find quite wild
responding to the pressure to perform
For you to stimulate
you must deviate
beyond the threshold of accepted norms
what is your diversion
another calls perversion
on a scale from kinky to obscene
