Jessie’s Pants

(to the tune of Jessie’s Girl. Yes, that old tune by Rick Springfield. I’m old and watched too much MTV back when it still played videos. Based on real events.)

Jessie is my wife,
yeah, I know she’s got
her stuff mixed with mine
But lately something’s changed
that ain’t hard to define
Jessie’s got a pair of pants
and they look like one of mine
And I’m busting at the stitches
And I’m losing circulation,
I just know it
Yeah ‘n’ they’re holding on
to my legs,
so so tight

You know, I think that I have Jessie’s pants,
I sure that these are Jessie’s pants
Where can’t I find some clothing that fits
I put away my laundry basket,
it doesn’t seem to be
to hard to tell her clothes from mine
You know, they were so dirty
when when put them in the chute
I wanna get dressed and moving,
but I don’t want to wear a suit
And I’m busting at the stitches
And I’m losing circulation,
I just know it
Yeah ‘n’ they’re holding on
to my legs,
so so so tight

These are Jessie’s Pants,
I sure that these are Jessie’s girl
Where can I find some clothing,
where can I find some clothing that fits
And I’m lookin’ in the mirror at my waist line,
wondering why my jeans don’t fit me
they look funny,
They looked cool last time
This Ain’t the way
pants are supposed to be
Tell me, where can I find some clothing that
[Solo]

These are Jessie’s Pants,
I sure that these are Jessie’s girl
Where can I find some clothing,
where can I find some clothing that fits
I don’t want
Don’t want Jessie’s Pants

  1. Just catching up with your blog Adam. While I find the FreeIPA stuff interesting. This entry deserves a High Five. I think Weird Al is looking for a new tune, you may want to pitch this.
